Meet Kelly

Hi, I’m Kelly — the heart (and hands) behind Sanctuary Flower Fields.

Sanctuary began as a small patch of flowers and a quiet place to land. I had no farming background, no floristry training, and no business plan — just a deep pull toward flowers and the way they made me feel. What surprised me most wasn’t just their beauty, but how much they supported my mental wellbeing. Turns out, growing flowers brought me far more joy than harvesting vegetables (no shade to cucumbers 🥒 — they’re just not my muse).

I started growing cut flowers in 2019, learning the only way I really know how: by doing. There were failures (plenty), lessons, and a lot of dirt under my nails. As the garden grew, so did I — especially during maternity leave, when I slowed life down, focused on family, and built something meaningful alongside it.

Flowers, nature, and beauty carried me through some of my hardest chapters, including grief and motherhood. What began as The Flower Patch eventually became Sanctuary Flower Fields — a space rooted in intention, creativity, and connection.
