The Friday Social is for couples who want an evening celebration with relaxed, modern vibes. Drinks in hand, pizza with your favourite people, s'mores by the fire and a night that feels more like the best party you've ever hosted.

At Sanctuary Flower Fields, we're bringing together the key pieces of your celebration so you can spend less time coordinating the details and more time enjoying the day.

Designed for up to 50 guests, this is a relaxed, cocktail-style wedding with good food, beautiful surroundings and plenty of room to make it your own.

The Whimsical Aisle 🌿

Does the thought of walking down a perfectly straight, formal aisle make you start sweating a little? Yeah, we're not really about that either.

We're dreaming up something a little wilder. A winding, natural pathway that meanders through the grasses, lined with wispy foliage, tall, swaying stems and wild blooms that feel like they've grown straight out of an enchanted novel.

Imagine walking through a sea of flowers, with blooms brushing the edges of your dress and flowing grasses moving in the breeze. Your guests are tucked just beyond the flowers, giving you a little bubble of space as you make your way to your person.

And the photos? Chef's kiss. 🌸

An arbour? Nah. We're thinking differently.

Picture a slightly elevated, natural platform nestled into the landscape. You and your person standing together, surrounded by flowers, with flowing foliage framing you from every angle.

No giant wooden structure. No elaborate backdrop. No trying to compete with the scenery.

Just you two, the flowers, the trees and a whole lot of natural beauty.

A little wild. A little whimsical. And definitely not your cookie-cutter wedding aisle.

You'll notice we sometimes use terms like bride and groom, bridal bouquet and groom's boutonniere throughout our packages. They're familiar wedding terms, but we know love doesn't fit into a box.

Sanctuary Flower Fields is an inclusive space, and love is love, full stop. We welcome all couples who want to celebrate their love here, regardless of gender, identity or the titles they choose (or don't choose!) to use.

Your wedding should feel like you. We'll always do our best to make sure you feel welcome, celebrated and right at home here.

A WEDDING THAT FEELS DIFFERENT

Cocktail-style celebrations

Our weddings are designed to feel relaxed, social and a little less traditional. Think less formal sit-down dinner and more of a laid-back gathering where everyone can mingle, wander and settle in wherever feels right.

Instead of rows of matching round tables and linens, we mix wood tables and benches, picnic tables, cocktail tables, a picnic area and comfortable lounge seating.

The result is a space that feels natural, welcoming and full of little places to gather. It's a casual cocktail-style dining experience designed around conversation, movement and connection, without the stuffiness of a traditional wedding reception.

Music & sound

A Bluetooth speaker is available for ambient music and playlists throughout your celebration. A DJ or live music is not included, but you're welcome to arrange your own entertainment.

A Woodland Toast for Two 🥂

After the ceremony, slip away from the celebration for a little while and find your own quiet corner of the world.

Tucked amongst the trees, a vintage table awaits with a chilled bottle of champagne and a beautiful charcuterie spread, just for the two of you. A little woodland hideaway to clink glasses, steal a few kisses and take a breath before the party carries on.

Bring your photographer along to capture the moment, or leave the cameras behind and let it be yours alone.

No timeline, no expectations. Just the two of you, a little bubbly and the beginning of your next adventure together.

FOOD, DRINKS & TABLE SETTINGS

Bar & beverages

Your package includes one bartender, bar accessories, wine glasses and a selected bar menu featuring:

• Two beer options

• Two wine options

• Two seltzer options

• Two signature cocktails

Our standard option is a cash bar, where guests purchase their own alcoholic beverages. If you'd prefer to host an open bar, we can arrange that instead. A credit card will be kept on file, and an invoice for the open-bar total will be sent the following day.

A water station is provided. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages are recommended but are not included unless separately arranged.

We'll confirm your bar selections with you before the wedding.

Food & table settings

Your package includes the food service listed above and wine glasses. Full place settings, including plates and cutlery, are not included.

If you'd prefer traditional plates and cutlery instead of pizza boxes and takeout-style containers, additional dining rentals can be arranged for an added cost.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Additional Wedding Florals

Want to bring a little more floral magic to your day? Additional wedding florals can be added to The Friday Social package, from ceremony arrangements and bud vases to statement pieces and table flowers.

We'll work with you to create floral details that suit your style, your space and your budget. Additional florals are quoted separately based on your vision and the flowers available for your wedding date.

Coffee & Tea Station | $175

Add a cozy coffee and tea station for your guests, including gourmet coffee, a selection of teas, local honey, sugar, and both dairy and non-dairy creamers.

Pick-Your-Own Flower Experience

Give your guests an experience they won't soon forget!

Guests can wander through the flower field, pick their own blooms and use them to decorate your tables before taking their flowers home as a keepsake.

Choose from:

• Bud vase experience: $15 per person 

• Mason jar experience: $30 per person

It's part of the decor, part of the experience and a take-home gift all in one!

Additional Wedding Florals

A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

Bathrooms

The studio has one indoor bathroom, reserved for the couple and guests who need accessible indoor facilities. Your package includes two premium flushable portable toilets, each with its own sink.

A bathroom trailer upgrade can be arranged for an additional cost, adjusted for the cost of the standard portable toilets.

Weather & Tent rentals

Tent rental is not included in the package.

Our weddings are designed to be enjoyed outdoors, with the studio available as an additional space for guests to gather or as an alternative ceremony location if the forecast is unfavourable.

The studio is not intended to accommodate all 50 guests as a full indoor ceremony and reception space. We encourage you to book a time to come see the studio in person so you can get a feel for the layout, space and possibilities before making your decision.

If the weather forecast isn't looking promising, we recommend renting a small tent at minimum. This provides additional covered space for guests to gather outdoors, alongside the use of the studio.

Our goal is to help you plan for the unexpected while keeping the relaxed, outdoor feel that makes Sanctuary Flower Fields special.

Guest accommodations & transportation

Couples are responsible for arranging accommodations and transportation for their guests. We recommend sharing nearby accommodation options and transportation details well in advance so everyone can plan a safe and comfortable trip to and from the venue.

Can we bring in our own vendors?

Absolutely! We want your wedding to feel like you. You're welcome to bring in your own vendors, provided they meet our venue requirements and applicable insurance, licensing and permit requirements. Please discuss your plans with us in advance.

Package pricing is firm. Each package is priced as a complete offering. Choosing not to use an included service or hiring an alternative vendor does not reduce the package price. Unused inclusions are not refundable or deducted from the total.

What's not included?

Unless specifically listed in your package, the following are not included:

• Wedding officiant and ceremony services

• Hair, makeup and wedding attire

• Photography beyond the included two hours

• DJ, live music or additional entertainment

• Bathroom trailer upgrade

• Tent rental

• Plates, cutlery and additional dining rentals

• Guest transportation and overnight accommodation

• Additional food, beverages or services beyond the package inclusions

BOOKING & NEXT STEPS

A deposit is required to secure your wedding date. All deposits are non-refundable.

Once your deposit has been received, we'll connect you directly with your caterer and photographer so you can ask questions, discuss details and feel comfortable with the plans for your day.

Please note: Prices and availability are subject to change prior to booking, as our vendors can only hold dates for a limited time. Your date and vendor availability are not guaranteed until your booking is confirmed.

We'll help bring the pieces together while leaving room for you to make the experience your own. Our goal is to make planning feel simple, personal and exciting from the moment you book!
